Tested and Recognized for Wildfire Protection Titan screens have been evaluated across ember resistance, radiant heat attenuation, and flame exposure resilience. In independent testing, our screens were shown to reduce the transmission of burning embers, preventing ignition to adjacent materials, consistent with requirements in ASTM E2886. This testing also confirmed that our Security Window Screens reduced radiant heat transfer by more than 40%. Products using Genuine MESHTEC™ Mesh have been tested against some of the most stringent wildfire building standards in the world, including Australia’s AS 3959 (“Construction of Buildings in Brushfire-Prone Areas”), AS 1530.4, and 1530.8. MESHTEC™ Mesh uses materials, such as stainless steel and aluminum, that are consistent with the types of noncombustible, corrosion-resistant materials referenced in California’s Chapter 7A for related building components.
